A chance to waltz with your hero!
Richard Dunwoody will sign books at Newmarket on Tuesday 1 December. He has wrritten an authobiography, Method In My Madness: 10 Years Out of the Saddle, of which he will be signing copiesf, at the National Horseracing Museum. Visitors will be able to buy the book at the museum entrance for an all inclusive price of £20 which will include access to the museum, and a £2.50 donation to Racing Welfare. Method In My Madness details Richards adventures since he hung up his boots — including his journeys to the Arctic, Antarctic, walking 1,000miles in 1,000 hours and taking to the Strictly Come Dancing floor. The book signing will take place from 12-2pm. We’re sure you will also be able to purchase this years Injured Jockeys’ Fund Christmas Cards, always a fantastic fund-raiser of quality.

The West Country Christmas Equestrian Fair at Westpoint takes place on Saturday and Sunday 5-6th of December.
This is a super place to combine chrismas shopping with being entertained and well informed. usually you meet friends there too!

t is held at Westpoint, just outside Exeter, good parking, well signposted off the M5.
This year we’ll be able to see the Chariots of Fire Display.

It is also an excellent port of call for christmas presents for all animal enthusiasts, not to mention rugs, and jackets for the cold winter months.There are more than 150 trade-stands.

  Oympia International Horse Show: 15-21 December

Olympia is not only going to see Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas compete, there is to be a dressage Clinic as well. In 2009 the Dressage competitions will take place on the evening of Tuesday 15th December (FEI Grand Prix) and the evening of Wednesday 16th December (Kür).
This is an excellent opportunity to see this fantastic horse in England. He is changing the face of dressage, single-handedly, or maybe by the use of his four springy legs... 
 Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas are confirmed to compete in the FEI World Cup Dressage Qualifier Grand Prix on Tuesday 15th December.l. His rider, will also be giving his first Dressage masterclass at Olympia before the freestyle to Music on Wednesday evening 16th December.
Jean Francois Pignon, on the right, will also do masterly training of another type and we promise you, you cannot fail to be moved by this French Horse whipering from the Camargue region. He needs no bit or bridle.
